10 Step Buying Process

This is a very easy way for us to come together on what you are exactly looking for.  We'll go through how the buying process works here in Hawaii and give you our buyers packet. We will set up your funnel process to make sure we don't miss a single Maui property that fits your criteria.


Step one is the most important. We will need to sign a Buyers Representation contract. This form is so we can represent you to our best. When you sign this form we work for you, not the seller. We legally have to work for your best interest in this transaction. We do all this for no cost to you. That's why we need to sign this before we can start working for you. We can not negotiate the best deal for you without representing you legally. It is our fiduciary responsibility to get you the best possible deal with negotiating your purchase.

We are here to help. Here are some things you will need for this process.

You will need to have all your finances in order to purchase a home. Here is what you will need:

  • Most recent 2 months pay stubs
  • Most recent 2 months of bank statements
  • Most recent retirement, investment account statements
  • Last 2 years W2's and/or 1099's
  • Last 2 years of Federal Taxes
  • If you have self-employment: You'll need the Federal Business Tax Returns, K1's, Schedules & Worksheets
  • Self-employment: P & L and Balance Sheets YTD
  • If you own properties: Current mortgage statements & property insurance binders
  • Front & Back of your Current Driver's License

This is the minimum that you will need. Some mortgage companies will ask for other information.
